These works are a continued study of the overlap between performing, painting and feeling called or led by something. These paintings are experiments in listening to and responding to where a piece wants to go. They take stabs at questions: "What is the extend of how "bad" something can be to where it loses value? Can value be seen universally? How about beauty? Where does ruining something take us? How can you take something that you feel in your heart and see in your visions and try to put that into physical reality? Why do that? Does it do the vision any service or injustice? Where does the mirror of an attempted objective reality blur with what I see and blend with the mirror of my mind?"
